Aids to Navigation (ATON) Basics
This course is designed to help new boaters know the meanings and significance of buoys and markers, typically referred to as Nav Aids, or more officially known as Aids to Navigation (ATONs). Identifying the marks and understanding their significance, and what to do when you encounter one, is the essence of this course.
Understanding the Basics of Aids to Navigation When Boating is a course that reinforces the importance of maintaining a lookout and consulting an up to date chart to navigate safely. With lots of interactive learning modules, engaging video scenarios and a knowledge review quiz, the student will have fun learning the basics of visual navigation.

Florida 90 Day Temporary Exam
This test provides a 90-day temporary certificate upon successful completion.
S.C.A.N. – Improving Boater Situational Awareness
This course is designed to enhance boater situational awareness using the S.C.A.N. method (Search, Concentrate, Analyze, Navigate) to stay focused and avoid collisions. The course also offers practical strategies to mitigate common operator distractions. Through engaging video scenarios and interactive quizzes, learners will practice key techniques to reinforce their knowledge.
