This course is designed for boaters looking to enhance their situational awareness and boating safety skills. Participants will learn the importance of maintaining a proper lookout, understanding and applying the nautical rules of the road, and mastering the S.C.A.N. method (Search, Concentrate, Analyze, Navigate) to stay focused and avoid collisions.
The course also covers common distractions and practical strategies to mitigate them, ensuring a safer and more enjoyable boating experience.
